Our mission is to provide a continuum of care with comfort and compassion for all residents of Lackawanna County and surrounding areas. Proud of our past, VNA Hospice is the leader in innovative hospice service. The hospice team currently has over 850 combined years of experience.

VNA Hospice & Home Health of Lackawanna County, a not-for-profit agency, was established in 1989 as part of the original Visiting Nurse Association which has served our community since 1895. Since then, VNA Hospice has positioned itself as the region’s leader in the provision of innovative hospice services, annually reaching thousands of patients, families and friends in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is important for our patients and families to know that we are accredited by the Joint Commission and are Medicare certified.
